Go Cubes Review – Should You Try It?

Go Cubes are a new cube-based chewable coffee product that claims to be the “future of coffee”. Here’s our Go Cubes review.

What Are Go Cubes?

Go Cubes are chewable cubed coffee products that contain 100mg of caffeine per serving, which is about the same amount of caffeine that’s in a cup of coffee.

In addition to coffee, Go Cubes contain other nootropic products, including L-theanine, vitamin B6, and vitamin B12. The cubes claim to be a perfect way to enjoy a boost of energy on the go.

Three different flavors are available, including Mocha, Pure Drip, and Latte.

Go Cubes are made by a San Francisco-based nootropics retailer named Nootrobox, best known for other products like Rise, Sprint, and Yawn. Go Cubes are the company’s latest offering.

What’s in Go Cubes?

Go Cubes contain 100mg of caffeine mixed with a blend of other nootropic ingredients. Here’s what the full ingredients list looks like when you chew two Go Cubes:

Go-Cubes-Ingredients

So in addition to caffeine, each serving contains 200mg of L-theanine, 250mg of glucoronolactone, 250mg of inositol, 20mg of vitamin B6, and 60mcg of vitamin B12.

As you can see, there’s also a small amount of sugar in each two cube serving. The manufacturer explains that sugar “helps cut into the natural bitterness of coffee and caffeine”. They also claim that they didn’t want to use a calorie-free sweetener because glucose is a valuable fuel source for the brain. However, customers who do want a calorie-free sweetener may want to buy Sprint, which is also available from Nootrobox.

It’s important to remember that each cube contains 50mg of caffeine: if you want the same 100mg of caffeine found in a cup of coffee, then you’ll need to chew two cubes.

What Do They Taste Like?

As mentioned above, Go Cubes come in three different flavors: Mocha, Pure Trip, and Latte.

The cubes are made using cold-brew coffee and “premium ingredients” put together by expert baristas. The manufacturer explains that each cube has a unique taste, texture, and appearance. Each pack of cubes comes with an assortment of the three flavors listed above.

But what does the cube actually taste like? Here’s what one reviewer at Mic.com had to say about the flavor of the cube:

“The Go Cube is also hard to chew and swallow all at once, which means you might be taking bites out of what looks like a big brown marshmallow for a couple minutes and leaving your co-workers scratching their heads.”

That reviewer followed up by describing the flavor of the cube like this:

“The outside of the cube tastes like coffee candy. It’s savory. It satisfies the coffee flavor you associate with getting in the zone to do work. But the gelatinous inside, where all the ingredients live, doesn’t feel like a brilliant Willy Wonka concoction that replicates precisely the experience of drinking a latte.”

The ingredients inside are described as bitter and unique in flavor. They’re raw ingredients mixed with a small amount of sugar.

Many people compare it to the flavor of drinking a Red Bull for the first time: Red Bull has a unique flavor, but you still drink it because you know those unique flavors are leading to unique benefits.

Who Makes Go Cubes?

Go Cubes are made by a San Francisco-based nootropics retailer called Nootrobox. The company is best-known for its lineup of other nootropic formulas including Rise, Sprint, and Yawn.

Go Cubes were launched in 2015 after a successful Indiegogo campaign.

The company is headquartered at the following address:

1161 Mission Street
San Francisco, CA 94103

You can contact the company by emailing club@nootrobox.com.

Nootrobox describes itself as “the leading company in nootropics” and claims the founders came up with the idea for Go Cubes after realizing that a lot of people drink coffee for performance – but the coffee formula hasn’t changed much over the years:

“We started thinking of ways that we could reinvent coffee in a way that’s measurably better for performance, super convenient, yummy, and most of all – unique!”

In 2015, Go Cues launched on Indiegogo. The rest is history.

Should You Chew Go Cubes?

Go Cubes are coffee-flavored nootropic candies. Two cubes have about the same caffeine as a cup of coffee, but you also get other nootropic ingredients added in for good measure. All of the added ingredients – like vitamin B6, B12, and inositol – are proven ingredients that have demonstrated real effects on the brain.

If you’re sick of drinking a cup of coffee every day but you still want to enjoy the caffeine boost, then Go Cubes may be a good alternative.
